My method of work is: ABSTRACT KEY FIGURATION

I am a philosopher of forms who has worked on the stylized figure for thirty years.  I am still developing a system of an abstract key, which helps me to control and refresh  perception. First I make an abstract key where I detect possible visual forces and decide about the visual rhythm (convex-concave, straight-curved, etc). Than I approach the  content and the figure with the choosen key which funtion like a rule of the game or a visual formula, (plan, concept).  Broader issues are: How to sculpt a body or society? Not copy it  but resonate  with it in a choosen rhythm that gives an intuitive meaning. I want to develop an approach full of information, knowledge and expressions,  while at the same time working on a construction.

Common projects

I am located in LJUBLANA, SLOVENIA. I am prepared for co-operation with architects, interior designers, landscape architects and sculptors on a formal base of an abstract key. (defined hierarchy of visual contrasts)If we agree on certain  key, let's say you are an architect, I can develop a sculpture that will formally perfectly  fits in your creation.

 If you want to have a sculpture listed in  BUY menu  , send an inquiry.  (info@bostjannovak.com) Prices are different and resonable. Euro:  100-200 for sketches 200-600 small scale terracottas,  1000-3000 bronze casts. Shipping for the EU for  sculptures around 2-10 kg is 40 euros. Normally I send an ivoice by e-mail via Pay-pal platform. You get the sculpture in 2-5 working days (EU). I sent many packages since now and had no problems with breaking.
